Vacation chalet of Pocono

So close to the lake that you can sip your coffee on the front deck and see the sparkling water through the trees! It is a contemporary Chalet with windows everywhere for a lot of natural light. All the ceilings are vaulted giving that super roomy feeling. You are close enough to walk to Locust Lake where weekend entertainment may be happening. A Beach to relax on while the kids are right there at the playground. Take out a Kayak! You can walk it right on down to the water and hop in! Take a stroll around Pines Lake, or do some fishing. You will receive a house manual that gives some local information, some are : * 5 minutes to JFBB, 15 to Big boulder, 25minutes to Camelback *There are many trails to hike on, that are close by! Some new pubs, a distillery and a few new wineries to discover! * Water Parks! Kalahari! Camelback! * White water rafting, ATV tours, horseback riding! Whip up a dinner in the fully equipped kitchen! Eat inside or out on the lovely deck! After all that fun you will need some rest! Choose one of the three bedrooms with relaxing beds! Plus !There is a twin and trundle bed in the loft. 2 full bathrooms, one on each floor. A screened in porch with a ping pong table and great fire pit for your s’mores! LINENS: Why do we have a linen service available? Like everywhere else, there is a labor shortage for cleaners. The time it takes for them to run the linens and make the beds, is time they could be spending getting more houses clean. We offer a choice, you can bring your own linens or have fresh sanitized linens at the door when you arrive! It’s so convenient! Just plop them into the box outside before you leave! The linen service fee is only $20.00 per person up to 7 (1 free), please indicate on your rental form what you would like to do! You can pay for it right there on the form! TRASH: Many communities in the Poconos have had to abandon individual house trash removal. The bears get into all of the ‘bear proof’ boxes and spread the trash all over. At great expense to the community, compactors were installed. There is no house pick up, it is up to the residents and guests to remove their trash to the compactors. This is mountain living! The cleaners really don’t like putting trash in their car, especially if the area is closed on your check out day, so they charge $50 to do it. We offer you a choice, you can add trash service to your stay on the contract, if you don’t want to run it to the compactor. It isn’t far, it’s on Martha’s Lane, just check the open times! –Our Community– You’ll be within walking or Golf Cart riding distance to 3 lakes, stocked with Trout and Bass. Make sure to get a PA Fishing License & Community Fishing License when you throw your line in from the shore or Kayak. *Locust Lake has a pavilion for picnicking or occasional entertainment in the summer. A little snack shack with ice cream, a beach, playground, shuffleboard, horseshoes, volleyball net, charcoal grills, picnic tables! Bathrooms! *Pines Lake has a boat rental and dive platform in the lake, playground, picnic area, playground, horseshoe pit, volleyball net. Bathrooms! * East Lake has a beach, picnic area with grills, playground, volleyball net, basketball court, dive platform and bathrooms! *Did you see those cool Tennis Courts when you came in? The surface is special, it is designed for 100% drainage, play 5 minutes after it rains! Community BBQ with music and children’s activities on Friday nights in the summer. *Our community is built for peace and nature. There are no gas powered boats to spoil the Pennsylvania Certified PRISTINE lakes in our 5 STAR rated Community This whole area is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream! Sledding Anyone? When Mother nature blankets our community we have the BEST sledding hill around! We have a large toboggan for you all the pile on! We also have a Bunny Slope with a J bar lift! Do a snow dance!
