The resort is at 1700 meters above sea level, 30 km from Borjomi. – 205 km from Tbilisi. A significant part of Bakuriani is covered with the coniferous forest, so it is considered not only a mountain-skiing but also a balneological-health resort. Bakuriani is a real discovery for sports and nature lovers. Vacationers visit the resort at anytime of the year to enjoy the beautiful views of the Borjomi Valley, hiking in the coniferous forests, skiing and cycling, spending unforgettable time with family and friends. The winter season at the resort is characterized by low temperatures and sustained snow cover, while the summer is cool.
Bakuriani offers a well-developed ski infrastructure for tourists. The total length of Kokhta Mitarbi and Didveli piste is 29.1 km. There are 23 ski lines of different difficulty, 8 ski runs, and one funicular in Bakuriani for all types of skiers, from beginners to veterans. The 11% of the slopes are provided with artificial snow, which ensures that the resort’s ski runs meet international standards.
